This is a set of notes I put together for my Computer Architectureclass. Students had a project in which they had to model amicroprocessor architecture of their choice. They used these notes tolearn VHDL. Not all of the language is covered (about 95%).You may use this booklet for your own personal learning purposes. Youmay not use it for profit (eg, selling copies of it, using it in acourse for which people pay, etc). If you want to make use of itbeyond these conditions, contact me and we can come to somearrangement.I will be revising the course this year, and if I get time, I expectto revise the booklet as well. I've learnt a fair bit more about thepracticalities of using VHDL since I wrote the booklet. Stay tunedfor info on a revised edition.VHDL-Cookbook.cpt.Hqx is a binhex'ed compactor archive.
